Acceptable Use Policy

1. General conduct

You must not use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
• upload, link to, or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, obscene, or that you do not have the right to share;
• impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
• harass, threaten, or harm any person, or interfere with any other user’s use of the Service.

2. No unauthorised access or security testing

You must not, and must not attempt to:

• access any account, workspace, or data that does not belong to your organisation, or access another tenant’s data;
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any authentication, authorisation, rate-limiting, or other security or access-control measure;
• introduce malware, or interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its underlying infrastructure;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.

3. No automated access, bots, or scraping

The Service is provided for interactive use by authorised human users. Except through functionality we expressly provide for your own workspace (for example, the built-in CSV export of your own records), you must not:

• use any robot, spider, crawler, scraper, bot, headless browser, or other automated means to access, monitor, index, extract, harvest, or copy any part of the Service or its content;
• bulk-download, systematically retrieve, or replicate data, pages, or content from the Service to build or populate any dataset, database, cache, or archive;
• circumvent, disable, or interfere with rate limits, usage limits, or any measure used to prevent or restrict access;
• access the Service through any interface other than those we provide, or automate interactions with the Service without our prior written consent.

Exporting your ownCustomer Data at ordinary, human scale for your organisation’s internal use is permitted; using automation to extract data at scale, or to extract data that is not your own, is not.

4. Proprietary content — no copying, distribution, or resale

The Service, its software and design, and in particular the Backstage-curated reference content it makes available — including capability maps and taxonomies, use cases, solution catalogues, benchmark data, research, and any analysis, scoring, or recommendations generated by the Service (together, the “Proprietary Content”) — are the proprietary and confidential property of Togo Tech and its licensors. They are provided to you under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your organisation’s own internal business use within the Service only. You must not:

• copy, reproduce, screenshot for redistribution, republish, frame, mirror, or create derivative works from the Proprietary Content, except for your own internal reference;
• sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, publish, or otherwise make the Proprietary Content available to any third party;
• use the Proprietary Content, or data or insights derived from it, to build, train, improve, or operate any product, dataset, model, or service, including any that competes with the Service;
• remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, confidentiality, or other proprietary notice.

Nothing here restricts your rights in your own Customer Data, which remains yours as set out in the Terms. The restrictions in this section concern the Service itself and the Proprietary Content we provide.

5. Fair use and system integrity

You must not impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the Service, attempt to overwhelm it (including any denial-of-service activity), or use it in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it or interfere with any other party’s use.

6. Email and communications

The Service sends transactional messages only. You must not use it, or any address or template within it, to send spam, marketing, or bulk unsolicited communications.

7. Consequences of breach

We may investigate suspected breaches and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or restrict functionality, with or without notice, to protect the Service, its users, or our rights. Because unauthorised copying or distribution of the Proprietary Content, or scraping of the Service, may cause harm that money cannot adequately remedy, we may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in addition to any other remedy available at law.
